Having had no formal training, Debra has taught herself various techniques using colored pencils, watercolor, airbrush and acrylics. 

Debra's style is unique without being tedious and overdone with detail. Complex simplicity, that makes a statement of boldness, like the first bursting blooms of spring. Her paintings have an abstract quality that includes texture. Excitement with movement, emotion and feeling, which is what she strives for.

Debra has exhibited professionally at Juried Art Shows and Invitational Exhibits since 1992. Her  original paintings can be found in gallery's, shops, private and corporate collections  Internationally.

Debra has  opened the doors to her new Art Gallery, studio  and school  at the beginning of August 2010, where she showcases outstanding original artworks from Canadian artists as well as housing  her studio and classroom in the loft above the gallery. More info on the gallery here:
